Haredi women in Israel averaged 7.5 children in 2003-2005, fell to 6.4 in 2020-2022, and rose again to 6.75 in 2022-2024, still more than double the Jewish national average of about 3.0 and triple the secular Jewish rate of about 1.9. Over the same decades, Muslim fertility in Israel collapsed from over 9 children per woman in the 1960s to under 3 today, converging with the Jewish average, while Haredi fertility remained far above every other group.
